How the couple questions quiz works
The quiz is played on one phone, passed between the two of you. One of you guesses, the other gives the real answers, and the game compares them. A round takes about five minutes and draws 12 questions at random from a pool of 36.
- Decide who guesses first. That player takes the phone and answers 12 multiple-choice questions about their partner.
- After the last question, a hand-over screen appears and hides the answers. Pass the phone.
- The partner answers the same 12 questions about themselves. Pick what is true, not what you think was guessed.
- The game shows your match score out of 12, a one-line verdict and the topics where your answers differed.
- Talk through the topics that did not match, then tap Play again with new questions and swap roles.
What your match score means
Your score is the number of questions, out of 12, where the guess matched the real answer. It shows how well one of you predicted the other tonight, on these questions. It is not a test of how much you love each other.
9 to 12 means you know each other well. The details have stuck, from snack choices to the best way to cheer your partner up.
5 to 8 is a solid score. You have the big things right, and the misses are usually small preferences that have changed or never came up.
0 to 4 means there are plenty of surprises left, which is good news for your next few date nights. People change their minds about favorite seasons and dream trips, and some answers are a close call even for the person giving them.
Whatever the number, the list of topics that did not match is the useful part. Each one is a ready-made question to ask.

Keeping it fun for both of you
This is a game about small preferences, so keep the stakes small. A wrong guess is not a failing. It is something you get to find out.
Either of you can skip a question or stop the quiz at any time, with no explanation needed. If a question does not suit you, pick any answer and leave that topic out of the conversation afterward, or close the page.
When you are answering about yourself, choose what is true tonight, not what you think your partner guessed. The score only means something if the answers are honest.
When the results come up, start with curiosity. "When did that change?" is a better response than "You should have known that." Nobody keeps a perfect record of another person, and with four options some answers will be close calls.
