Love Language Quiz
Ten questions to find what makes you feel most loved. Take it, then send your result to your partner.
How the love language quiz works
The quiz has ten short questions about everyday moments: birthdays, long days, time apart, making up. Every question offers five answers, one for each love language. Pick the one that would mean the most to you, even if several sound good.
- Tap Start the quiz. It takes about three minutes and runs in your browser, with no account.
- Choose the answer that fits you best. Think about what you want to receive, not what you usually give.
- Use Back if you change your mind. Each answer adds one point to a love language.
- After question ten you see the love language you picked most, with a short description.
- Open the full page for your result to read how it shows up and what your partner can do.
- Send your result to your partner and ask them to take the quiz, then compare the two.
What your result means
A love language is the kind of gesture that makes you feel most cared for. The idea is simple: people show and hear love in different ways, and couples often miss each other because each gives what they would like to get.
Words of Affirmation means spoken or written appreciation matters most. Quality Time means undivided attention. Receiving Gifts means thoughtful tokens that show you were on someone's mind. Acts of Service means practical help. Physical Touch means affection you can feel, from a hand on your back to a long hug.
Your result is the language you chose most often across ten questions. Most people care about more than one, so a close second is normal, and your answer can change as your life does.
This quiz is for reflection only. It is a way to start a conversation, not a rule about what either of you must do. The useful part comes when you compare results and each pick one thing to try.
- Words of Affirmation Hearing it matters to you: a sincere compliment, a thank you or a note stays with you long after the moment. Send this to your partner and see how your results compare.
- Quality Time You feel loved when you have someone's full attention, and an unhurried hour together beats any grand gesture. Send this to your partner and see how your results compare.
- Receiving Gifts A thoughtful token tells you someone was thinking of you, and it is the choosing that counts, not the size. Send this to your partner and see how your results compare.
- Acts of Service For you, help is love made visible: when your partner takes something off your plate, you feel looked after. Send this to your partner and see how your results compare.
- Physical Touch You feel closest through contact: a hug, a hand in yours or sitting side by side tells you everything is fine. Send this to your partner and see how your results compare.

Keeping it fun for both of you
Take the quiz separately so neither of you answers to please the other, then swap results over a coffee or on the sofa. Guess each other's result before you reveal it. Being wrong is half the fun, and it tells you something too.
Different results are not a problem to solve. They are a map. If yours is Quality Time and theirs is Acts of Service, you now know why a tidy kitchen and a dinner with phones away feel like different kinds of love.
Either of you can go back on an answer or stop at any time. If none of the answers fits, pick the nearest one or move on, and nobody has to explain.
Keep score out of it. A love language is not a debt your partner owes you, and it is not an excuse to ignore theirs. Finish by each naming one small thing you would enjoy this week, then do it for each other.

Love Language Quiz FAQ
Do we need to download anything?
No. The quiz runs in your browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Is it private?
Yes. The quiz runs in your browser with no account. Your answers are never stored or sent anywhere, and nothing is kept once you close the page.
What happens after the result?
You get a result page for your love language that you can send to your partner to compare. You can retake the quiz any time.
What are the 5 love languages?
Words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service and physical touch. Each one is a different way of showing and feeling care.
Can you have more than one love language?
Yes. Most people respond to two or three, with one that stands out. If two feel equally true, tell your partner both.
Can your love language change over time?
It can. A new job, a baby or a stressful year often shifts what you need most, so it is worth retaking the quiz now and then.
What if my partner and I have different love languages?
That is very common and works fine. The trick is to give love in their language, not yours, and to ask for yours plainly.
Is the way I give love the same as how I like to receive it?
Not always. Plenty of people show love through doing things but feel it most through words or touch. Answer the quiz for what you like to receive.
