The Accommodating Conflict Style
If accommodating is your style, you put the relationship ahead of the argument. You give way, let your partner choose, and smooth things over, because being close matters more to you than being right.
The strength is generosity. You are easy to live with, quick to forgive, and your partner feels looked after. The cost is that your own wishes can go unsaid. Give way often enough and you may start to feel unseen, and your partner may have no idea, because you told them everything was fine.
You make up first. You say sorry early, sometimes for things that were not yours to be sorry for, and you offer a hug to end it.
What helps: say what you want before you agree to what they want, even if you still choose to give way. Start with small things, like where to eat. A partner who loves you would rather know your real answer, and hearing it lets them be generous back.
