Anxious attachment style
People with an anxious style care a great deal about closeness and are quick to sense when it changes. They tend to be attentive, generous partners who remember details and put real effort in.
In a relationship this can show up as reading a lot into a short message, wanting to settle an argument straight away, or needing to hear that things are fine. When reassurance does not come, the worry gets louder, and reaching out more can feel like the only option.
None of this is neediness. It is a sensitive alarm that goes off early.
What helps: ask for reassurance directly instead of hinting or testing. "I'd love a quick message when you land" is easier to answer than silence. Build a few ways to calm yourself that do not depend on a reply, like a walk or a call with a friend. A partner can help by being consistent and saying plainly when they need time.
Styles can shift over time, and steady experiences tend to quiet the alarm.
